Inspiration: Pedro Almodovar
I have always been attracted to the kitsch, wicked and weird Pedro Almodovar's World. I saw the first movie in the beginning of the nineties and since then I am always expecting the next movie. I love the over-saturated colors, the strong women characters always performed by good actresses, the funny scripts (especially Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) and I discovered how a movie like Volver can make you feel emotional and homesick.
Some of his movies are:
Pepi, Luci, Bom (Pepi, Luci, Bom y Otras Chicas del Montón)
Labyrinth of Passion (Laberinto de Pasiones)
Dark Habits (Entre Tinieblas)
What Have I Done to Deserve This? (Que he hecho yo para merecer esto)
Matador (Matador)
Law of Desire (La Ley del Deseo)
Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Mujeres al Borde de un Ataque de Nervios)
Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! (¡Átame!)
High Heels (Tacones Lejanos)
Kika (Kika)
The Flower of My Secret (La Flor de Mi Secreto)
Live Flesh (Carne Trémula)
All About My Mother (Todo Sobre Mi Madre)
Talk to Her (Hable Con Ella)
Bad Education (La Mala Educación)
Volver
Broken Embraces (Los Abrazos Rotos)
The Skin I Live In (La piel que habito)
I'm So Excited (Los amantes pasajeros)
